BigToys Awarded Prestigious FAC79 Statewide Contract for Massachusetts

Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 05, 2013 -- BigToys proudly joins nine other exclusive vendors on the FAC79 statewide contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The FAC79 contract includes landscaping and green roof products, playground equipment, and site amenities and is open for use by all eligible public entities within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BigToys, a PlayCore Company, was recently awarded the very prestigious FAC 79 – Massachusetts State Contract for Playground Equipment. Their recent alliance with GO Green Solutions, Inc, a SOWBA partner specializing in recycling bins and containers, strengthens a shared philosophy of utilizing environmentally sound products and protecting the environment for future generations.

BigToys, founded in 1970, offers two sustainable materials choices for playground equipment which include a recycled plastic/recycled steel/recycled aluminum option, or a FSC certified wood structure that is 100% free of any type of arsenic chemicals. As a leader in environmentally sound, sustainable materials, all eligible public entities are encouraged to contact the Massachusetts Sales Representative for a free catalog and pricing as well as design assistance. “The awarding of this contract reaffirms BigToy’s commitment to sustainable play. We are so pleased to have been included on this important contract,” said John LaRue, J.P. LaRue, Inc, the BigToys New England representative. With the new State Contract in place, a total site evaluation, playground design, and installation can be achieved without the need for a public bid, saving public entities a good amount of time as well as money.
